Cancelling, Rescheduling & Refunds

Clients must notify the counsellor with at least 24 hours notice if they wish to cancel or reschedule their appointment.

No refunds will be provided for appointment cancellations within the 24 hour notice period.

​Clients may contact the counselling service if they need to reschedule their appointment. This will be at the counsellor's discretion and availability.
Confidentiality & Privacy

All information disclosed by clients during counselling sessions is considered private will remain confidential.

Counsellors may write notes during or after sessions with clients to assist them in recording information discussed for the purpose of supporting client treatment and outcomes.

Any personal information obtained about the client will only be collected for the purposes of counselling treatment, scheduling appointments and invoicing the client.

Emergency contact details will need to be provided by each client before counselling commences.

All confidential client information will be held in secure electronic or hardcopy systems including password protected files and locked filing cabinets at the counsellor's physical location.
Mandatory Reporting
Qualified counsellors are 'mandatory reporters' which means they have a legal obligation to advise government authorities when a client is considered to be a danger to themselves or others.
Virtual Delivery via Zoom

All counselling conducted by this service is delivered online using the Zoom technology platform.

A link to the relevant Zoom meeting will be provided to the client via email, once a counselling appointment is booked and payment has been finalised..

We suggest that clients test that their technology is working, prior to the scheduled appointment time.

There is no requirement to download the Zoom program as the cloud-based version is used.

If you are attending online counselling for the first time, you may want to book a 15 minute consultation to discuss the process with your counsellor.
